Also, while we haven’t yet had the time and energy to roll out a map listing the ASK ANGELA initiative, we wanted to highlight the work of a few OpenStreetMap contributors:
The ASK ANGELA initiative can be found on OpenStreetMap as a tag applied to public places. ASK ANGELA? It’s the name of a campaign launched in England in 2016. You “ask for Angela” — a fictional staff member in a bar or other public venue — when you find yourself in an uncomfortable or unsafe situation (harassment, verbal/sexual assault, etc.). This discreetly alerts the staff, who can then step in to help.

We were fewer than usual, and it was another way of understanding the card game that was just as interesting.

Three years of Wiquaya
This day marks Wiquaya's third year of life. For this occasion, we have made a presentation of our present and future actions in an activity report for the year 2023.
The more the years go by, the more our fights seem essential. Nothing is ever acquired. We have seen it too much these years, these recent days.
We continue our voluntary work to create and transmit educational and preventive content, to connect queers to existing resources. We continue to take care of Wiquaya, of the people who need it and of us.
Thank you to the people involved directly or indirectly with the association: by donating time, money, skills. Thank you to the people who participate in this project, who relay, who give their opinion, who complete it.
If you want to raise awareness of Wiquaya on a larger scale, we are super motivated to discuss with you.

Capitole du Libre
On the Capitole du Libre at Toulouse, we led our workshop GAFAMa vie privée (breach of my privacy).
The challenge was human and especially technical this time. Indeed, the Capitole du Libre brings together people with varied and sometimes high IT skills.
The bet is held. We went there and proposed our method of cooperation to raise awareness and learn about safety on the Internet!

Update #5
Beyond the detailed rereading of the entire site, thanks to you, we have added four new resources, in the French and English versions of the site:
The Holistic Grindr Safety Guide, Internet safety guide for people with autism spectrum disorder, The BoB app for pregnancy monitoring and LibRedirect, a web extension that redirects YouTube, Twitter, TikTok, and other websites to alternative privacy friendly frontends.
A few links were dead, it's fixed. We encounter a problem with an external website. We are trying to find out if it can be put back online.
Don't hesitate if you notice any problems on the site (in French and/or English). We are happy to receive feedbacks.

On the occasion of the QIF organized by Intersections Queer, we had the opportunity to lead our playful workshop: GAFAMa vie privée (breach of my privacy).
This opportunity to train in practical cases that speak to us, moreover in cooperation, is valuable.

Update #4
The sheets have been reread, moreover the date at the top right of each sheet has changed from October 2021 to September 2022 to attest to this. The term "GAFAM" remains visible on them. That said, we have added, next to it, the change of name of the Facebook company to Meta.

We signed the column on Mediapart "For a feminist and trans alliance." which follows the "reactionary offensive" provoked by a Family Planning poster. Indeed, there is "an instrumentalization of women's rights" and an "essensialist vision of women". It is a feminist support for transgender people. The rights and fights of trans people are inseparable from feminist fights!

The association FAIRE FACE organized a day around the book "For feminist self-defense" by Mathilde Blézat.
We had a stand there to present the prevention and repair tools offered by Wiquaya.
It was also an opportunity to experiment together for the first time with the card game that we recently created and designed.

Intervention on cyber domestic violence
Invited by the Planning Familial 81 at the Banc Sonore, Wiquaya intervened following the screening of the documentary Traquées by Marine Perin. We were able to discuss ways to regain power on the Internet when you are a person suffering from cyber-violence or to prevent it as best as possible.
